Sabbatical Sessions, opening October 4th, 2020, have a two-week minimum, with special “residence rates” to encourage month-long stays or longer. Individuals and couples are welcome. With a beautiful private room as home base, and all meals and optional light programming included, you can curate your own days and connect with others as you wish.

Book your stay by selecting an available room below.  All-inclusive — food, snacks, and drinks, including alcohol. Two week minimum. Guests must be at least 16. Payments policy

A 50% deposit is required at the time booking. Balance is due 30 days prior to the beginning of your stay.

Cancellation policy
If you give us a reasonable amount of time to fill your spot, we can transfer your deposit to other dates, within the year (ending September 20, 2021), based on availability. (And if COVID-related, we are of course very flexible with this policy).

In the event that MEA must cancel due to COVID travel or health restrictions—we’ll let you know as far ahead as possible and offer a refund or credit…your choice.

We cannot provide credit for no-shows, early departures, or program dissatisfaction.

Given the current international travel uncertainty, cancellations due to health issues or travel restrictions will be honored. And we are nice humans, so let's talk if you need to cancel- BUT, if you must cancel, please alert us as early as possible at: hospitality@modernelderacademy.com
